DAY WISE ITINERARY

 

Day 01: Arrival Dehradun Airport – Haridwar (Distance: 50 kms / Driving Time: 01:30 hours approximately).

Arrival at Dehradun Airport,

Transfer to Haridwar and check into the hotel in Haridwar.

Evening visit Maya Devi Temple, Bara Bazar, Har Ki Pauri Ganga aarti at Har Ki Pauri.

Dinner at Hotel

Overnight Stay at Haridwar.

Day 02: Haridwar – Barkot (Distance: 210 kms / Driving Time: 08 hours approximately).
Breakfast at Hotel,

Check out from hotel,

Enroute visit Mussoorie Lake and Kempty Falls in Mussoorie (If traffic situation permits).

Transfer to Barkot and check in to hotel.

Day 03: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot (50 kms by road and 6kms Trek, on each side)
Breakfast at the Hotel,

Proceed to Jankichatti / Phoolchatti, to start your trek to Yamunotri (6kms)

(Alternate options are available, either by pony or by Doli at additional cost).

Take a Holy Dip in Surya Kund's warm water.

Enjoy "Darshan" of "Yamunotri Temple". Return to Jankichatti by trek.

Later proceed towards Barkot.

Day 04: Barkot – Uttarkashi (Distance: 100kms / Driving Time: 04 Hours)

Breakfast at Hotel,

Check out from hotel.

Transfer to Uttarkashi. Visit Shivgufa on the way to Uttarkashi.

Arrive Uttarkashi, visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Shakti temple in Uttarkashi city,

Later transfer to hotel and check in to hotel.

Day 05: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (Distance: 100kms / Driving Time: 4 hrs. by road each side)

Breakfast at Hotel,

Proceed for Day excursion to Gangotri, enroute visit Gangnani Hot Spring.

Take bath in Hot Water Spring at Gangnani. Later proceed to Gangotri via beautiful Harsil valley.

On arrival at Gangotri, take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges which is also called Bhagirathi at its origin.

Perform Pooja and Darshan, after that relax for some time in the lovely surroundings. Visit Mukhba Temple at Harsil

Later transfer to Uttarkashi.

Day 06: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (Distance: 220 kms / Driving Time: 9 hrs.)

Check out from hotel.

Proceed to Guptkashi via Moolgarh and Lambgoan.

Enroute you can see the beautiful river Mandakini at Tilwara. The Mandakini River comes from Kedarnath,

Proceed towards alongside the river to reach Guptkashi, visit ArdhNarishwar Temple in Guptkashi.

Check into the hotel on arrival in Guptkashi.

Day 07: Guptkashi – Sonprayag – Kedarnath (Distance: 36 kms/Driving Time: 01:30 Hour)

Check out from hotel.

Proceed for Sonprayag for trekking of Kedarnath. (You must leave hotel too early in the morning).

By Trek: Morning our driver will drop you at Sonprayag then you must take local jeep for Gaurikund and then your trek will start for Kedarnath. After darshan

you follow same and back to Sonprayag. There is a big parking issue so driver will park the vehicle at another place if his contact no. is not working then you

must arrange another taxi or wait for your driver and send the message any other.

Kedarnath, situated in the Himalayan mountains stands at a breathtaking altitude of around 3,583 meters (11,755 feet) above the sea level. However,

it's important to note that due to its remote location and rugged terrain condition there are no upscale hotels in Kedarnath. Accommodation options consist

primarily of shared basic arrangements. This means that you will be staying in accommodations that emphasize communal living such as dormitories or shared guesthouses.

Day 08: Kedarnath – Guptkashi (Distance: 18 kms/Driving Time: 01:30 Hour)

Morning visit Kedarnath Temple for pooja and after breakfast,

Checkout from hotel. and start your trek back to Sonprayag.

Transfer to Guptkashi and check in to hotel.

Day 09: Guptkashi – Badrinath (Distance:220 kms / Driving Time: 9 - 10 hrs)

Transfer to Badrinath and check in to the hotel on arrival at Badrinath.

Pilgrims after having a bath in Taptkund have the Darshan of Badri Vishal and Aarti in the evening.

Brahamakapal is significant for Pinddan Shraddha of ancestors (Pitrus).

There is other interesting sightseeing spot like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund and the "Mukh" of the Saraswati River. Just within the 3 kms. of Badrinath ji

Day 11: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh (Distance:140 kms / Driving Time: 5 hrs.)

three sides. It is said that when Raibhya Rishi did hard penances, God appeared by the name of " Hrishikesh " and this area hence forth came to be known as Rishikesh.

Evening visit Triveni Ghat Ganga Aarti if time permits.
